Information: Aaron came to Clairmont Hills in March, 2006, to serve as Minister of Arts. His passion is best stated by saying he desires to "live life together" with people, strengthening and encouraging them in their knowledge of God. He desires to help people discover their God-given abilities and how they can use those abilities in building the body of Christ.

Aaron believes that music and other arts exist in the church for two primary reasons: the first is to proclaim the message of the gospel in a way that connects with and gives hope to the soul, and the second is to unite the community of faith in their response to God, allowing them to respond to what God is doing in their hearts and lives. Aaron says, "This is the essence of worship and of our lives as a whole." A passage in the Bible that encapsulates this is Colossians 3:16-17: "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God, And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him."

Aaron assumed the responsibilities of Youth Minister in 2007. It is his belief that the youth of today's church are at the forefront of the church's battle for place and ministry in today's society. We must train our young leaders to own their faith and live a consistent life following God if we desire to see our church impact the world in the coming years.

Aaron is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL. He holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Sacred Music, with his emphasis in Vocal Performance. He is a music and voice teacher at Artios Academy as well as a private Vocal Coach. He enjoys singing, playing racquetball and tennis, cooking, and performing and coaching music and drama.

Aaron and his wife, Kristy, reside in Decatur with their son, Caleb, and dog, Chyornia.
