One of the greatest mysteries of life is the relationship between God’s choice and man’s free will. Is everything that happens “God’s will”? Are our “choices” simply an illusion? If man does have choices, does that threaten the idea that God is in control? Does belief in God’s sovereignty lead to a “qué será, será” attitude? Does belief in man’s freedom lead to believing we are masters of our own fate, alone to face the world? How do we navigate the balance of these two concepts?
